- Accept Everything (you can’t change). There is absolutely no point in obsessing over the inevitable, the certain and the way things just are. So put effort into taking time to accept this, appreciate the simple things and this will become a lot easier.
- Expect Nothing (Just work hard). As much as you may wish that fate has got your back and you need not do anything but keep putting one foot in front of the other the reality is this is not the case. You really do get out what you put in. Don’t expect achievements to come without hard work. Invest yourself into everything you do, try your hardest, it may hurt when you face rejection, but when you succeed it's a feeling far better than ever experienced by those who succeed in half-hearted efforts
- Go for Walks. The exercise and the nature will do you wonders. They’re also really helpful for getting your thoughts in order.
- Be kind to your body. Listen to your body and give it what it needs. The key is treating your body like it deserves to be happy. Feed it well, exercise, nurture your skin, be happy with it. There’s an abundance of natural products that will do wonders for your body! Drink lots of water, take care not to put too many chemicals in or near yourself, do this and you will feel so angelic I promise.
- Find worth in what you are doing. This is about feeling accomplished. Too many times have I heard, and myself too muttered I wish I wasn't here, or I cant wait until the weekend/ I leave school / Im anywhere but here. Stop looking forward! Try stopping. Looking up. Looking around. Whether it be at school, Uni, Work, look at what you’re doing, find value in it.
- Don't compare yourself to other people. We all do it and its one of the deadliest habits. Remember that there is not one person in this world who is not crippling sad, scared or down about something. You are the only person in the world who knows your whole self, don't compare this with anothers exterior, remember that people only put out into the world what they are willing to share.
- Love Love Love. Be compassionate, generous and loving. When you feel like being alone or shutting out the world, try taking on the opposite action. Reach out, compliment, smile, talk to strangers, connect. If not to connect, why are we even all here?
